Hamza Adam, Founder and CEO of Bulsho Fiber, will represent the Kenyan telecommunications sector at the International Trade Council Global Convocation & Leadership Forum.

Bulsho Fiber, registered as Bulsho Fiber Link Limited, is a 100 percent Kenyan-owned broadband and digital innovation company. Since deploying its first high-speed network cable in 2018, the company has expanded its independent network infrastructure to encompass over 250 kilometres of fiber optic cabling and more than 15 Points of Presence across Nairobi. By providing reliable ICT, high-speed broadband, and direct connections to major subsea cable networks, Bulsho Fiber serves as a critical digital gateway, linking Kenyan enterprises and communities directly to the global economy.

The company's rapid expansion is reflected in its operational scale, serving more than 3,000 clients and delivering over 2,500 projects as of 2026, with network traffic estimated between 100 and 200 Gbps. This growth has earned significant industry recognition, including being named the Fastest Growing ISP Provider of the Year in September 2025 and the Best Community Impact ISP of the Year in September 2026 at the Africa Digital Economy Awards. At the forum, Bulsho Fiber aims to highlight how robust digital infrastructure underpins cross-border commerce and facilitates international trade.

Under the leadership of Hamza Adam, who was named Emerging ISP Leader of the Year at the 11th Africa Digital Economy Awards in 2026, Bulsho Fiber has actively championed regional digital integration. Adam's participation in the London forum aligns with his ongoing advocacy for infrastructure sharing, regulatory harmonisation, and attracting foreign investment to East Africa's telecommunications sector. By participating in discussions with international policy and trade leaders, Bulsho Fiber seeks to foster new partnerships that will support technology transfer and the expansion of secure digital solutions, such as its Cloud-Link services and smart-utility IoT systems.

"Digital connectivity is no longer a secondary support system for international trade; it is the primary infrastructure upon which modern global commerce operates. Our focus at Bulsho Fiber has always been to build the resilient, high-speed networks that allow Kenyan businesses to compete on equal terms in the international market, while ensuring underserved communities are not left behind in the transition to a digital economy."

"Participating in the Global Convocation allows us to share our experiences in scaling infrastructure in East Africa and to engage with global partners who recognise the immense trade potential unlocked by secure, high-capacity digital corridors. Aligning regional regulatory frameworks and encouraging collaborative investment in telecommunications will be essential to sustain this growth."

Beyond its core fiber-to-the-home and fiber-to-the-business services, Bulsho Fiber operates modern data centres in Nairobi and Mombasa. These facilities enable secure, low-latency data transmission, supporting advanced business applications such as Software-Defined Wide Area Networks and Unified Communications as a Service. The company's membership in AFRINIC, the regional internet registry for Africa—which includes its own autonomous system number, ASN 328479, alongside IPv4 and IPv6 allocations—reinforces its position as a self-sustaining and secure network provider capable of supporting enterprise-level international operations.
