Empxtrack has updated its payroll application to incorporate the revised EPFO wage ceiling of ₹25,000 per month, effective September 17, 2026. The update comes ahead of September month-end payroll, giving businesses access to the latest PF calculation requirements without the need for manual adjustments.
The revised EPFO wage ceiling increases the statutory wage limit from ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month. As a result, the maximum employee PF contribution at the statutory ceiling increases from ₹1,800 to ₹3,000 per month, based on the 12% employee contribution rate. The change also affects applicable employer PF and pension calculations.
Empxtrack has integrated the revised wage ceiling and related contribution calculations into its payroll application, including the relevant statutory calculations and validations. This enables businesses to apply the updated PF limits within their current payroll cycle and reduce manual intervention when processing salaries.
The update is available to existing Empxtrack customers as well as new businesses signing up for the platform. By incorporating statutory changes directly into payroll calculations, Empxtrack helps businesses keep payroll processing aligned with evolving requirements and reduce the effort involved in manually updating contribution calculations.
The rapid implementation reflects Empxtrack’s focus on supporting businesses when payroll regulations change, particularly when updates take effect close to a scheduled payroll cycle. With the latest EPFO changes integrated into the application, businesses can process September payroll using the revised wage ceiling and applicable PF calculations.
